The UTE - Format(s):

The 2024 UTE is 27-Holes using Stableford (Points) scoring.

 

All scoring will be done via Golf Genius OnCourse Mobile App and a paper scorecard. Groups will be asked to keep both. The online score is the official score.

 

18 Holes Four-ball Net and Gross with Stableford Scoring

 

Each team member plays his/her own ball. The low net score is the team score. The handicap allowance for 18-hole Four-ball Net is 85 %.

 

9  Holes Pinehurst Net and Gross with Stableford Scoring

Pinehurst:
Both team members play their tee shots and then play their partner's ball on the 2nd shot. For the third shot, the team selects the better of the two balls in play. They finish the hole by alternating shots until the ball is holed.

 

HCP ALLOWANCE: The 18-Hole Handicap Index for each team member is halved and converted into a 9-Hole Course Handicap (CH). The Low Handicap team member receives 60 % CH and the High Handicap team member receives 40 % CH.

 

It will be 27-holes of continuous golf. However, after teams complete18-Holes of play they will pause for a 1 hour lunch. After lunch teams will head back to their next hole and complete the final 9-holes of play.

 

When teams are playing the Neshanic Valley Meadows 9 and Lake 9 they will play Four-ball. When teams are playing on the Neshanic Valley Ridge 9 they will play Pinehurst.

 

The handicap allowance for 18-hole Four-ball Net is 85 %.Winners determined by 27-Hole Aggregate Stableford (Points) total. Ties for 1st and 2nd Place Overall Net will be decided via sudden death playoff - Hole - TBD. All of other ties will be decided use USGA Match of Cards starting with the last 6 holes, if still tied last 3, if still tied #9.
